Just Another Day at Berkeley
The Triad: My Female-Power group of three. We RULE the Ling and French majors!!! When our forces are combined, there is nothing we can't do (no matter what the language). It is sad that this semester we were not able to take a class together.Reasons why we are The Triad:
-Laurel is blond. Jacqueline is a red head, and I am the brunette. We are like the Charlie's Angels of the Ling. Department.
-We all wear glasses.
-We study a lot!! (notice the picture)
-We all have really cute and loving boyfriends.
-We are very different from eachother, but we love to hang out (when our schedule permits).

eeeee!! That is SO cute. Next time I need to wear my glasses so we all match.
eeeee!! dudes, we should start writing small books about ourselves, like the babysitter's club, or sweet valley high. (i'm sure laurel didn't waste her youth reading crap like that when she was a tyke, but i found them utterly fascinating.)
Me too. I read the Babysitter's club, Nancy Drew, and the Boxcar Children!!! I loved them all. I grew up thinking that one day I would solve mysteries that baffled even the smartest adults.
Haha, my mom wouldn't let me read Sweet Valley High or Babysitter's Club. Well, I don't think she explicitly forbade me, but she vocally derided them. Yet she let me collect like 30 Boxcar Children books, way into the period when they were no longer being written by Gertrude Chandler Warner and they just said "Created by Gertrude Chandler Warner" and they were probably written by the same computer that spits out Goosebumps and Animorphs. Which, by the way, she did let my brother collect.
I have no clue what the Animorphs are/were, and I'm too lazy to google it. However I did read boxcar, and the Hardy Boys, until they hit this Miami Vice, gun packing stage in the late 80's.
1. It pays to have two working parents that don't pay attention to how you spend your time as a child. I learned a lot about life by watching soap operas at 10.
2. M: You already HAVE solved mysteries that baffle that smartest adults. I will call into evidence the consonant gradation homework assignment.
3. I had no idea they did that to the Hardy boys! That's almost as bad as what they did to Tomorrowland (I still love the Peoplemover...)
omg the people mover!
