Wedding Registry
Alan and I were opposed to the idea of having a wedding registry. We thought that we were already asking too much from our guests, with making people travel to Mexico and all. Besides, we live in a relatively small appartment and we don't have much room for big, fancy things. We have already been living together for over a year and our basic home-necesities have been covered for quite some time. We are independent -or something like that- and we don't need other people buying things for us. We can buy our own stuff, thank you very much.
We changed our mind.
We realized that many people who love us will not be able to make it to the wedding in Mexico. Alan and I cannot host a second reception in the US and we don't want people to feel left out. Our friends and family have made it clear that they want to contribute to our new lives as a couple. One of the traditional ways for people to celebrate the lives of newlyweds is through practical gifts. So, we decided to register at AMAZON.COM. Our registry is HERE. We don't actually expect people to buy us anything, but we would like to provide a guide for those who wish to do so. All of the things on the registry are things we would love to have and use.
